Yvonne Lo

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Yvonne studied and worked in USA in the Hospitality Industry. Started off as a hospitality professional, she found her strength in Event Management, Sales and Marketing with specialization in Food and Beverage management.

After 5 years working for Hilton Corporation in USA, she co-founded her first business venture, Y.Lo Epicure, and was nominated one of the best catering companies in town by Denver's A-List. In 2008, Yvonne moved back to Hong Kong and pursue into professional baking, cake decorating and design courses. With a cake decoration certification from Wilton, she developed her own recipes and created her signature Italian Butter Cream Cakes. Yvonne furthered her education and received the Top of the Class Honors in the M.Sc. Program in International Hospitality Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Past year, she has been developing and writing recipes with focus on western and dessert recipes for an online recipe lifestyle company in Hong Kong, and founder of a Food & Beverages consultancy firm.

Rosanna Lo

Rosanna is a full time mother of a pair of 2 years old twin girls. She started her culinary experience not too much older than her daughters. Learning traditional Chinese dishes from her grandma and mother, Rosanna is now looking to fuse eastern traditional concepts with western culinary techniques. Starting from London where she did her tertiary studies, Rosanna has taken various cues from her travels around the world to enhance her techniques and ultimately bringing the entire experience to a higher level.

Rosanna has won numerous cooking competitions including the "My Family Secret Recipes". She also co-hosted the TV cooking program with TV celebrity chef, Ms. Wong Suk Yee. The TV show was a great success due to the innovative yet simple execution of the dishes. Rosanna emphasizes on not only creativity and presentation but also holding a grasp on the timing and execution of the whole process.

Monthian Singthin (Mon)

Thai-born Monthian Singthin (Mon) is passionate about baking and cooking.  She started her venture in the kitchen at very young age. Mon turns recipes into tasty and delightful dishes.  Her signature dishes include Tom Yum Goong, Thai Chicken Satay, Por Pia Tod (Crispy Spring Rolls), Kuay Teow Reua (Boat Noodle), Pla Neung Manao (Fish steamed with Chili and Lime) .           

Mon moved to Hong Kong 22 years ago.   She is the Thai Guest Chef of thePatsy.

thePatsy Creative Culinary

Inspired by their love of food and appreciation of the culinary arts, Patsy Chang and Janet Lee are the driving forces behind thePatsy, a state-of-the-art kitchen and bakery located in Wong Chuk Hang in southern Hong Kong. thePatsy was built upon the co-owners' passionate belief that good health comes from good food and that it's never too early (or too late) to discover the joy of cooking healthy and delicious meals for yourself and loved ones.

In its 3,500-square-foot space, thePatsy has three fully equipped kitchens with top-of-the-line appliances, a separate studio dedicated to bakery, and a VIP dining room that can accommodate 12 guests. Our culinary workshops give adults a chance to bond over a mutual love of food as they learn new skills to create a three-course meal or specialty dishes. Workshops for children focus on teaching young chefs what goes into the food they eat and having them experience the satisfaction of a home-cooked meal.

thePatsy also has its own bakery that sells artisanal cakes and cupcakes, using only premium imported ingredients and reputable manufacturers of local products. We do not use any preservatives or hydrogenated oils.

    Patsy Chang

    Patsy's family hails from Jiangsu in mainland China, but she has spent her life in New York, London, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong. A trained dietitian, Patsy entered the hotel catering business in Hong Kong, and her passion for the culinary arts led her to further her education and skills as a sugar artist. Over the years, Patsy has taught both adults and children cooking classes and making cupcakes and cakes, all decorated with her unique flair, for private clients. Opening thePatsy is the realization of her long-cherished dream of sharing her knowledge of nutrition, cooking and baking. She hopes to inspire a new generation of students while promoting good health and good food.

    Janet Lee

    After twenty years in the executive search industry, which included co-founding her own firm, Janet is now using her entrepreneurial skills to pursue her lifelong passion for food. Janet's love of cooking stems from her roots in Malaysia, whose cuisine is renowned for its complex flavors and diversity. As a world traveler who is inspired by the wide range of global cuisines, Janet is dedicated to the idea of bringing people together so that they learn about the importance of food to their health and bond over their mutual appreciation of food.
